Back in 2018, I returned for a second a three-month internship at Web Summit, working with the core team to reimagine the website experience. It was such a fun and rewarding project to be part of. One of my colleagues shared the story behind the design — have a look here.
I’ve got loads more to write about my various stints at Web Summit — especially the live events with 80,000+ attendees. I got to do all sorts of things, like producing onsite post-stage interviews with some of our biggest speakers and managing the website, coordinating the most newsworthy quotes as they happened. I really miss the buzz of it all sometimes! Anyway, more on that soon.
